No cases of Zika have been reported in Puerto Vallarta according to the State of Jalisco’s Secretary of Health and its vector-borne and zoonotic disease division. Preventive measures against mosquito-borne diseases have been maintained by the State authorities and the city has procedures in place to prevent and control vector-borne diseases like dengue, chikungunya and zika.
