PV Restaurant Week 2019

The Puerto Vallarta Restaurant Week in 2019 was inspired by Restaurants Weeks that influential fine dining destinations began hosting around the world. Since 2005, Vallarta Lifestyle’s Restaurant Week has charmed local Puerto Vallarta residents and visitors by giving them the chance to try out the most coveted restaurants in the area. Participating establishments come up with innovative three-course menus, with three options available for each course. Prices are often discounted up to 50% off regular priced selections, so it is a good chance to take advantage of this special deal and dine at the best restaurants in town. Many people actually specifically visit Puerto Vallarta during the annual festival in order to take advantage of this delicious and exciting event.

Garza Blanca: Blanca Blue Restaurant

Blanca Blue Restaurant is one of this year’s outstanding participating restaurants. Located on the Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa grounds, Blanca Blue is Mexican Avant-Garde Cuisine with a menu that focuses on celebrating the culinary arts. Situated amongst a naturally beautiful and tranquil location with a pristine, private beach, Blanca Blue is just south of downtown Puerto Vallarta at the Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa. Blanca Blue appreciates that the art of gastronomy and tries to constantly evolve and stay abreast of the latest culinary trends. By focusing on experimentation and using cutting-edge techniques, Blanca Blue prepares innovative cuisine with only the highest quality local products. At this year’s Restaurant Week, visitors can choose from 3 choices in the following categories of appetizers, main courses, and desserts. Appetizer choices include Molotes Istmeños, Tetela de Pulpo, and Picada which is a skirt steak salad with avocado, cream sauce, and tortilla strips. Main course choices are Zarandeado fish, Oaxacan Mole, or Seared Tuna with grasshopper crust, hibiscus sauce, and sweet potato pureé. To finish your fine meal, dessert choices are Pumpkin Mousse with cacao and vanilla ice cream, Light and Divine which is an apple ice cream with oatmeal dust, cardamon, and eucalyptus cotton candy, or a sweet and savory cotija cheese flan with pork rind dust. As you can see, there are plenty of great and tasty options to enjoy at Garza Blanca’s Blanca Blue Restaurant during Restaurant Week.
